The Walla Walla County Rural Library District is collaborating with Microsoft, the State Library, the Office of the Secretary of State, and the State Legislature to offer the Microsoft IT Academy for free to our communities.
Why are tech skills important?
The Microsoft IT Academy provides free access to over 400 English-language online courses and learning
resources through the library. Many more courses are available in 20 different languages.
Microsoft’s Digital Literacy curriculum is where you’ll find basic classes on using a computer, and the Internet.
No sign up is needed to access these courses. You’ll find them by clicking here
To enroll in the Microsoft IT Academy, you will need:
- A Microsoft Account
- An Enrollment code provided by the library
Headphones or speakers to hear the training videos. Closed Captioning is available on all Microsoft IT Academy training videos as well. Headphones are available from the library - please ask us for a pair!

If you already have a Microsoft Account, skip to Step 2 for your Enrollment Code.
If you don't have a Microsoft Account, click here to create a Microsoft account then come back to get your Enrollment code.
