The Public Forum for the Prescott Library, that was previously canceled due to bad weather, has been rescheduled for:6 pm on Thursday, March 1, 2012 Prescott Lions Hall - Corner of D St. and HWY 124, in PrescottThe Public Forum will be an opportunity to give feedback on library services in the Prescott area and specifically the Prescott Library. The Burbank Library will be hosting a Valentine’s Day Party on Tuesday, February 14th from 4 to 5 pm.

The Walla Walla County Rural Library District Board of Trustees have set a standard time and location for their regular monthly board meeting. The board of trustees will meet on the second Monday of each month from 5 - 7 pm at: Baker Boyer Bank - Plaza Way Branch 1530 Plaza Way

The Plaza Library is now open seven days per week. The Plaza Library serves all residents of the rural library district and anyone with a valid WALNET library card. The library has over 6,000 items, a large selection of Spanish Language and bilingual materials, six public use computers, and free wireless internet access. The Plaza Library's new hours are:Monday through Friday: 11 am - 7 pm Saturday and Sunday: 11 am - 4 pm You may also request items from the other rural library locations, and other WALNET libraries, from the Plaza Library. Staff at the Plaza Library will let you know when the items you have requested are available for pickup. |
