Overdue Items and Fees

As of January 1, 2009, the Walla Walla County Rural Library District does not charge overdue fees.

Lost or Damaged Items:
An item is considered lost when it has been overdue for 30 days. At that time the cost of the item will be charged to your library account. Replacement costs for lost or damaged items can be found on the Fine and Fee Schedule available at your library, or online.

Reimbursement for a Lost Item
At the time of paying for a lost item, you will receive a receipt. If you find the lost item within one year of the date on your receipt - bring the item and your receipt to the library for reimbursement of the replacement cost.

Internet Filtering

The Walla Walla County Rural Library employs internet filters on all of our computers at all of our branches. The filters are present to filter web sites based on content as required by the Children's Internet Protection Act.

We understand that no filtering software is perfect: some unoffensive web sites are blocked and some offensive web sites may not be blocked. At the Walla Walla County Rural Library we strive to deploy the Internet Filter in the most accurate and fair manner as possible, protecting your right to access information freely.
